Get creative this Easter!
Join regional artist Mariya Blyznyuk and explore Krapanka
(from the Ukrainian word krapka – “point”) or kapanka—one of the four main types, and oldest way, of decorating Easter eggs! The word itself is a derivative of the Ukrainian word “clap” – “drip”. The drawing consists of many-coloured dots on a background of different colors. Traditionally, three colours were used, but now artists use as many colours as they wish. Participants will be guided to explore different decorating techniques using plastic and boiled eggs. Register early as spots are limited! #mariyablyznyuk #maclarenartcentre #krapanka #estareggs https://maclarenart.com/…/krapanka-ukrainian-easter…/…
